Having started my career in the Royal Air Force Supply and Accounting Branch, my career then spanned a selection of positions in the Business World mainly in the South and London. Moved to Scotland in1987 to take a Financial Directorship and Shareholding in a Graphic Design company, which was followed by setting up my own Corporate Design Company, in 1994, active until 2014. Awarded an OBE for ‘Services to Business’ In 2010. I currently work as a Consultant in Administration and Accounting.

Past National President of the British Association Women Entrepreneurs (BAWE) and past Vice President of the World Association of Women Entrepreneurs FCEM, now Treasurer and Company Secretary. Past Corporate Secretary of ‘The National Alliance of Women’ (TIAW ) which is based in the USA. Awarded ‘The World of Difference Award’ in 2014. Selected in 2009 to serve on the Advisory Group of the ‘Women’s National Commission ‘Europe and the Commonwealth also becoming one of the 50 UK Female Entrepreneurship Ambassadors to spread the word amongst female Students. Involved with European Projects , the last one being ‘You decide’ she succeeds’. Working on a pro bono basis, for a variety of Voluntary organizations including ‘Young Enterprise Scotland’, The Russian Orthodox Church in Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire Grants Committee.

Currently Serving as a Trustee and Treasurer for COSCA (Counselling and Psychotherapy in Scotland)

A Fellow of the RSA since 2002, served as a Trustee and Fellowship Counsellor. Mentored an Australian Lady staring on an entrepreneurial Career on line, through the RSA last Year
