Executive Producer / Client Lead – Seeing is Believing
Director TakeOneTV.com
Helping founders and owners tell their stories on video for over 30 years, Karen’s career began with the BBC working in Radio & TV streams for science, arts, music and light entertainment. One of her roles was selecting and promoting programmes which could be sold worldwide but she also pioneered research into the first live subtitles for BBC Television, helping to provide an inclusive service for those who were hard of hearing. Her vision has always been to:
- make good video available to all businesses,
- help clients to feel confident and comfortable on camera so that they can show up authentically
- communicate clearly to attract the exactly the right customers for their business.
Everyone has a story to tell. The what and the how of their business is often a given, especially in compliant or regulated sectors, but the why they do what they do, the unique element is often found in the people themselves; the passion with which they began their journey and the reason they continue. Karen’s key skill is helping clients to recognise their ‘why’ – what it is that makes them different to others, and why it matters. Karen gets great pleasure out of helping people identify the right positioning, styling and messaging to perfectly fit their story and genuinely reflecting the essential culture of a business.
