will be launched on January 1, 2024 by FCEM
participation form MORE INFOA competition in the field of ICT
- A competition in the field of ICT for a FCEM member country requesting participation.
- This will have as a partner the chamber of commerce of the requesting country, a university linked to the ICT sector as well as sponsors in the field of ICT or any other activities wishing to promote and support female entrepreneurship.
- This competition will require the involvement, monitoring and collaboration of the National Association of Women Business Owners of the selected country. A team will be designated to follow the competition within their association. The same goes for FCEM which will oversee the competition.
- A jury will be created with members of the partners, members of FCEM and members of the association representing the chosen country.
THE COMPETITiON
The competition aims to encourage young women graduates and those who already have professional experience to create their own innovative businesses linked to Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)
It will enable women selected in the category to:
«Creation of a company linked to the digital» carriers of the 3 best projects, to create their companies in their country, in which they will propose the services/products defined in their projects.
Each project will have the equivalent of 10,000 euros in the form of hardware, software, training, mentoring. Support for 12 months will be provided.
«Creation of new ICT product or service» to launch their new activity. 3 prizes will be awarded, equivalent to 3000 euros per project in the form of hardware, software, training, mentoring. Support will be provided.
Business financing and ICT activities
La création des entreprises et lancement d’activités débuteront dès la connaissance des résultats du concours. Elles pourront créer leur entité avec l’aide de la chambre de commerce locale.
Le financement sera assuré par les partenaires pour les projets de création d’entreprises et de lancement d’activités liées au numérique.
Launch and support
The beneficiaries will be accompanied in order to provide them with effective support in the management of the company, commercial actions, marketing and communication.
The training necessary for the smooth running of the company will be organized.
Traceability
Throughout the accompanying period, a quarterly monitoring of the evolution of companies and ICT activities will be communicated to the partners, namely: a dashboard, the actions carried out and analyses, equipment used, budgets…
Communication
Interviews will take place after the launch ceremony of the Competition at the Chamber of Commerce in the presence of the High Authorities of the Chamber of Commerce, the authorities of the selected country, public and private partners, public authorities…
A press conference will be organized by FCEM during which the launch will be presented, in the presence of public and private partners, government representatives…
And after that…
An award ceremony will be held in the presence of the winners, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce, the country’s authorities, partners, public and private organizations,… followed by a press conference.
After this date, the implementation of the projects will be effective, accompanied by the partners.
A press release will be issued every six months to inform the progress of the projects.
An official inauguration of the companies and activities will take place after the 1st year of activity, in the presence of partners, public and private bodies, followed by a press conference.
