ABOUT ME

I am an entrepreneur and business leader with more than two decades of experience in building sustainable, purpose-driven businesses and supporting SME development. I am the founder of Haleb1999 brand, a heritage food company established in 1999, recognized for its commitment to quality, authenticity, and responsible production. Alongside my entrepreneurial work, I actively contribute to the business ecosystem through leadership and advisory roles, including as a board member of ICC Armenia, IRIS Business Incubator, SME NGO, AYWA board memeber and as Vice Chair of the SME Commission. My work focuses on strengthening entrepreneurship, improving market access, and fostering collaboration between the private sector and institutions.

I have a strong interest in sustainable growth, circular economy practices, and inclusive employment, with a particular focus on empowering women entrepreneurs. Haleb1999 operates with zero food waste and minimal packaging waste, and more than 70% of our workforce are women with equal pay policies. My contributions to business and economic development have been recognized nationally, including being named Best Female Entrepreneur by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and receiving the Medal of Gratitude from the President of the Republic of Armenia. Through my work, I aim to connect tradition with innovation and support women-led businesses in scaling sustainably and accessing regional and international markets.
