FCEM Steering Committee

  Presided over by the FCEM World President, the Steering Committee is composed of:

the World President
the Treasurer 
the Secretary General 
the Assistant Secretary General 
the Vice Presidents. 

  The Steering Committee meets as necessary to plan and oversee the functioning of the organization, usually this board meets 4 time per year. The meetings are held in a different country each time and are hosted by an FCEM member country. These meetings are traditionally held over a long weekend when not held in conjunction with other FCEM meetings (i.e. World Committee or World Congress).

FCEM World Committee


  Presided over by the FCEM World President, the FCEM World Committee is composed of:

the FCEM Steering Committee members,
the National Presidents or officially mandated representatives of the National Association members of FCEM
FCEM Regional Commissioners.

  FCEM World Committee meetings are held two times a year (once in conjunction with the FCEM World Congress) and are organized and hosted by an FCEM national association member country. The meeting provides a venue for National Presidents to vote on issues and actions relative to FCEM, a forum for presenting and hearing about issues, actions and activities of FCEM country members.

FCEM General Assembly

  Presided over by the FCEM World President, the FCEM General Assembly meets on the occasion of the FCEM World Congress.

  The General Assembly is composed of:

the FCEM Steering Committee
all of the FCEM National Presidents, 
Regional Commissioners
and member delegations.

FCEM Regional Commissioners meetings

  
  Presided over by a regional commissioner appointed by the World President, the meeting brings together the representative of the different countries of the region to discuss and share information and ideas on individual country and regional issues, opportunities and problems and to propose solutions and programs. The regional commissioner provides a report before the World Committee on the proceedings. National Presidents of the region are expected to attend the meeting. If she is not available, she needs to appoint a representative. These meetings are usually held following a World Committee meeting. 

  A forum of FCEM Regional Commissioners is held in conjunction with the World Congress and brings together all of the regional commissioners to discuss and brainstorm on the means to reinforce associations at the national level, and their linkage on the regional and international level. A report is issued from the meeting.

Requests to host FCEM meetings 

  FCEM National Associations which would like to organize and host an FCEM event (Steering Committee, World Committee or World Congress) are requested to forward their proposition in writing to the World President. A guide book for organizing meetings is available to National Associations upon request.
